There is no doubt that the best way to explore the Colchagua Valley is by bike. Rent a bike at our Hostel and discover this beautiful region. We have different sizes and every bike is equipped with panniers for your comfort. We have a few different routes, feel free to contact us for more details.

Bike Routes
A lot of wineries can be reached with a short bike ride from Casa Suiza (1h of biking or less). Below you can find detailed information on how to bike to the wineries.
Blue Route
The blue route takes you out of Santa Cruz and within 5 minutes you bike along picturesque vineyards with the magical Andes in the background. After approximately 45 minutes on your bike you can make your first stop at Viña Montgras. The next vinery can be reached heading east for 15 minutes. The Viña Maquis is situated between two rivers and offers some fantastic bike routes with a picnic area close to the water. After a tour at Maquis you can continue your journey to the last stop on your trip. Only 10 minutes on your bike and you will be welcomed by Viña Estampa. At this winery you can taste some amazing blends as well as snack in the café of the winery. After this last stop it's time to hop on your bikes and cycle back to Casa Suiza.
Green Route
Head east on your bike to enjoy the green route. This bike ride is slightly longer than the blue route and offers more wineries along the way. We do recommend to visit 2-3 wineries per day also consider that you are biking today ;) After biking out of town you will head into the famous Apalta Valley where some of the most prestigious wines of Chile are made.
